A combination of factors including controversy about
cancelling the Chinese company Landbridge’s 99-year lease of Darwin Port, and
yet another battle facing the Maritime Union of Australia, this time over
automation and AI operation of the stevedoring work in DP World’s four
Australian container terminals, has resulted in a call by our Party for the
